I'm home from Nashville, Tennessee. I went for 4 days with 2 friends from work. We had a great time. Nice getaway. We toured the Jack Daniel's Distillery, did some shopping, toured downtown Nashville in a Duck (I will go in detail later, haha), dodged a tornado, and the best part of all...relaxed in the pool and hot tub.

(above picture) We went on a tour of downtown in this old vehicle that also looked like a boat. The first part of our tour we drove through the town, then the last part of our tour our car jumped into the Cumberland river.

Everything Happens for a Reason

As you know, we have gone on a couple of house shopping trips. Well, we found a house that was "nearly" perfect for us. So we made an appointment for tomorrow for my parents to see the house. Most of you who know me (Dana) well, you know that I take my dads opinion seriously. So I needed his approval, haha. Well, we got a call from our realtor, Denise, today. She said that this house has been on the market for 17 days, but 7 days ago someone made an offer. So it sounds like their realtor is being a little shady and hoping for a higher offer. I guess I can't blame them. So, Denise said if it was up to her she wouldn't mess with it, but it was our decision. I said I didn't wasnt to mess with it either. I leave for vacation Saturday, so I don't want to stress about the house while I'm gone. So we said everything happens for a reason! Denise is going to keep this house on a "watch" and let us know if there are any changes.

Home Shopping

Well, we just finished day 2 of our house hunting. It's been going well. We found 2 houses that we liked today and 2 houses yesterday. But there is 1 that is really standing out to us. It's exciting! Were going to keep looking though. There are some small things that I would like to have in a home and this 1 house doesn't have it. So I'd like to see if we can find something that is "almost" perfect for us.

Spring is here!

I have to say, I feel like I have never been so ready for spring. This weekend I saw the pool company getting our community pool ready. Danny said it should be open next week. I can't wait!

So in case you didn't know, spring is finally here!

We are super excited to go house shopping tomorrow. We have an appointment at 12:30. We didn't think it would come this fast, but everything always works out. Denise (our realtor) added a house for us today, and it is probably at the top of our list. We really liked it. So wish us luck.

I have had the worst cold all week, and I am finally starting to feel better. I wasn't sleeping and I had awful sinus pressure...but no more. Thanks to an antibiotic, I had a good nights sleep and I left the house today, haha.

Well, we decided to add more stress to our agenda. Were looking into buying a house. We are hoping to meet with the mortgage guy sometime next week. I've also decided to trade my car in. I'm looking for something that is a little less expensive. I love my car but I would like to have a car and a house. So I could be a whole new woman here in a few months, haha. New house, new car, and a wonderful husband. I will be happy with the husband, but the house and car would be an added bonus!
