Everyone is asking if we are all moved in. The apartment is no longer ours but we still have a ton to do to the house. The main living spaces are done but there are still alot of boxes to unpack. We also haven't done any decorating. I told Danny we need to concentrate on the wedding now. So, it's back to wedding planning. Once we get back from our honeymoon, we can do fun things to the house. I'm going to get back to my tv shows and relax, bye for now.

Dugger/Dye residence

Welcome to the Dugger/Dye residence. Soon to be Dugger residence. This floormat was a gift from our realtor Denise Hepp. She is so nice. And she didn't even know I have this little obsession with D's. Since Danny and I's first and last names start with D's, I have gotten this little obsession. So, needless to say, this floormat is perfect!

We signed our life away today and closed on our home. On May 21st, 2009 at 2pm, we became homeowners for the first time. Danny is hanging blinds at the house, and I am loading up my car for more to move, so I will write more later.

Look for the flag

These 3 flag poles are the most talked about with Danny and I. Not sure if you all know, our home is the old model home for this housing addition. Since it was a model home, there are 3 flag poles in the front yard. 1 very LARGE pole, and 2 smaller poles. The large pole can be seen from like a mile away, I'm not joking!!!! I told the builder that those poles will be gone. He said it will cost us $2,000 just to remove the large pole. The sign company would have to come out with a crane to remove it. You have got to be kidding me! So, I told Danny my plan was to get the chain saw and saw away. He wasn't very happy. He would keep all 3 if he had it his way. So was came to an agreement. :) The 1 LARGE pole can stay. The other 2 are going. His boss offered to remove them and he will take them. What a relief. So, if you ever come visit us, just look for the american flag. You can't miss it!

So you've seen a picture of our soon-to-be home. We close on May 21st. We're so excited. On the 19th, we will do an orientation of the home. They will take us through and tell us about the home, i.e. they will show us how to work our new washer and dryer :). I'm also excited to have a 4 day weekend to move. My goal is to have all the moving and unpacking done in 1 weekend. Anythings possible right?!

Not sure if I told you before, but the airline for our honeymoon sent us an email saying they changed our flight times. Well, the new flight would have caused us to miss our boat. They ended up letting us change it with no penalties. We received another email this week with a flight change. We are flying Delta/NWA, needless to say, this will be my first and last time flying with them.
